New CLOTHES for Lakota Language Forum

New Clothes for the Lakota Language Forum
The new forum skin is another birthday present for the forum and the community.
The new skin uses a color palette that is partly based on the colors of the New Lakota Dictionary. The soft pastel colors of brown and beige also evoke the traditional use of natural material, such as leather, in Lakota culture. These earthy tones also give the forum skin a warm feel.
The new forum header signifies the importance of the community spirit in the forum, the fact that people learn from each other and that all people are welcome to take part in this process and help revitalize the Lakota language. The header also symbolizes that the forum does not discriminate against anyone based on age, nationality, race or religion.
Those who would for any reason prefer to continue using the original phpBB3 Prosilver skin can switch back to it in their user control panel (board preferences --> board style). There you can also select two alternative versions (Hayapi2 and Hayapi3) of the new default skin (Hayapi1).
A special thank you goes to our member Mitch who is the author of the skin as well as of all the new graphic components of the forum, such as the membership badges etc. Ho čha, tȟaŋháŋši na šič’éši Mitch, líla wóphila tȟáŋka uŋkéničiyapi.
We hope our forum members will enjoy this new skin.
P.S.: feel free to comment on the new hayápi below.
