Speak to me Part 6

Mitákuyepi
8 years ago I discovered the word ináȟmekičhičhiyapi in the Lakota LLC dictionary. It means hide and seek. I'd say to Nákoma , igmú mitȟáwa, "Ináȟmekičhičhiyapi uŋk'úŋ héči ?
( Let's (you and I ) play hide and seek ?"
Nakóma would open one eye and quickly close it as I hadn't mentioned wóyute /food , or any other related word :!:
(Škál kapíŋ / She is too lazy to play).
I'd make suggestions -
Nakóma thiyópa kiŋ isákhib nážiŋ he?
Nakóma wanáȟča ognáke kin ogná ȟpáya he ?
However it didn't take her long to discover she didn't get a treat when 'found ' :good: She obviously decided I took too long and as I'd be deep in concentration over my sentence ( :geek: :burst: ).I'd feel her brushing against my ankles."Tókhiyataŋ yahí hé ? / Where did you come from ?" and she'd get her treat. :good:
This game is way more appealing for learning words such as -
ogná,akáŋl,itȟókab,iwáŋkab,isákhib,ilázata
and practicing sentences with or without treats :burst: Have a go :friends: :good:
Tókša :)
