Sounds represented by letter b, l, m, n, w, and y are more or less equivalent to their English counterparts.
As such they are not difficult for students whose first language is English.

b sounds like b in boy, as in bébela baby
l sounds like l in lamp, as in lowáŋ to sing
m sounds like m in map, as in matȟó bear
n sounds like n in nap, as in napé hand
w sounds like w in was, as in wičhíŋčala girl
y sounds like y in yes, as in yámni three
